| Walter's Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame News: Johnny Grant has died Mr. Grant, Honorary Mayor of Hollywood and Chairman of the Walk of Fame Committee has passed away. We mourn with the rest of the world and extend our sympathies to his family and friends at this time of sorrow. He will be missed by many. The WOF committee voted on June 8, 2007 and chose NOT to award Walter Koenig a star on the Walk of Fame. Walter's nomination stays valid for one more vote, to take place in June 2008. It's time now that the last star for the original cast is awarded as the torch is passed onto a new cast with the premier of "Star Trek XI" in December of 2008. We ask that people do everything they can to help encourage the committee to finally vote to award Walter much deserved star! We Need Your Help! Now is the time for fans to unite and convince the WOF committee that this is the year for Walter Koenig to get his star!!
