The people of Burma have demonstrated incredible bravery in the ongoing struggle against
the brutal military regime in control of their country. The current military dictatorship has
imprisoned Aung San Suu Kyi, the democratically elected president of Burma and a Nobel
Peace Prize winner, since 1993.  Their violent policies include severe beatings and torture
of detainees and the Karen people. They have destroyed over 3000 villages and forced a
million people to flee the country.

In Sept. 2007, over one million people, led by Buddhist monks, peacefully demonstrated for
human rights and democracy. In the ensuing military crackdown an estimated 3,000 people,
including 1,400 monks and nuns, were arrested, and an estimated 200 were killed. Those
detained and tortured included journalists.
Walter's Star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
News:  Johnny Grant has died
Mr. Grant, Honorary Mayor of Hollywood and Chairman of the Walk of Fame Committee has
passed away. We mourn with the rest of the world and extend our sympathies to his family and
friends at this time of sorrow. He will be missed by many.

The WOF committee voted on June 8, 2007 and chose NOT to award Walter Koenig
a star on the Walk of Fame. Walter's nomination stays valid for one more vote, to
take place in June 2008. It's time now that the last star for the original cast is
awarded as the torch is passed onto a new cast with the premier of "Star Trek XI"
in December of 2008. We ask that people do everything they can to help encourage
the committee to finally vote to award Walter much deserved star!

We Need Your Help!

Now is the time for fans to unite and convince the WOF committee

"To Serve All My Days: A Night in 1969"
World Premiere!!
InAlienable...

Still guilt-ridden over the accident that took his family's
lives, Eric Norris discovers that his body is host to a
parasite from another world. Except, it is more than a
parasite: it carries his DNA. Is this his new son or--as the
government believes--a threat to mankind?

Written by Walter Koenig, InAlienable has become the first
feature length motion picture to premiere on the internet.
InAlienable is available online for the cost of $2.99
per 24 hour period. The 105 minute film can be seen
at the
Renegade Studios website.
Cawley Entertainment Company held a red carpet world premiere of the Star Trek: New Voyages
episode “To Serve All My Days: A Night in 1969" on March 29, 2008 at the Fine Arts Theatre in
Beverly Hills.

"Because of this desire to showcase so much more than just the premier of a special edition of an
already-streamed episode, it was billed as “A Night in 1969″ and James got up on stage and
promised to take us back there. And he delivered in spades."

The Crisis in Burma

Walter Koenig works to bring world attention to the Burmese
political crisis--and to the thousands of refugees suffering because of it.
Actions have been taken to place Burma on the permanent UN Security Council's "Threat to Peace" list and
call for an end to the attacks on civilians and an end to the military regime. China, one of the members of the
UN Security Council, has refused to condemn the military junta, and continue to sell the current government
military weapons that are used against the population. Calls have been made to boycott the Beijiing Olympic
games in protest.

Burma, renamed Myanmar by the military regime,  is a known source of human trafficking and is the second
largest producer of illicit opium. They have no Bill of Rights and their constitution was suspended in 1988.

Known to much of the world as "Burma's Nelson Mandela", Suu Kyi leads a remarkable peaceful
campaign for human rights and democracy against the Burmese military dictatorship. Like
Mandela when he was imprisoned in South Africa, Suu Kyi has appealed for international support.

At the invitation of the humanitarian group U.S. Campaign for Burma, Walter and his son Andrew visited
refugee camps along the Burma-Thailand border in July 2007.  He will be helping  in their grassroots campaign
to get the message out about the human rights violations, and the long running struggle and suffering of the
Burmese people: including the permanent residents of the refugee camps in Thailand.

Keep an eye out for Walter and Andrew's speaking appearances regarding the Burma situation.

Visit our Burma Crisis page for more pictures, interviews, and details of the trip: and for more information on
the situation.
