This commemorative magazine was created by an eclectic international group of fans as
a gift for Walter Koenig on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Chekov’s first
appearance on our television screens: September 15, 2007.

The text contained within these pages has not been edited.  Each fan’s own words reflect
on what the character of Chekov–and Walter’s portrayal of him–has meant to them.
Some of their thoughts are scholarly, some of them humorous, and some of them are
outright heartwarming. They are all genuine.

This 124 page, full color magazine was a labor of love for everyone who participated in its
creation–and many more wanted to but could not due to time constraints. Join us as we
reflect on a forty year journey with Pavel A. Chekov...

and as we thank Walter Koenig for the trip.

The Internet release of "To Serve All My Days: A Night In 1969"
is now available to fans at
www.startreknewvoyages.com/episode_tsamd.html

Although missing the 1960’s period commercials seen at the
live premiere in Beverly Hills, California, the episode is packed
with new special visual effects by Daren Dochterman, Max
Rem, and Doug Drexler. To avoid any unnecessary (and
unwarranted) complaints that the episode was financially
supported in some way by the 1960’s and 1970’s era
commercials, they were removed prior to the Internet release.
However, there is still the original series soundtrack and the
special surprise joke at the very end. Click on the above link
and enjoy!

"It’s new level of sophistication for home-made Trek sent
ripples through the fan film community."

The previous version of the episode and two trailers are also
currently available for free download. For those who can't
download the trailers or episode, see them here:

"InAlienable" now available on DVD!
Richard Hatch of Battlestar Galactica stars as Dr. Eric Norris, a brilliant researcher guilt-
ridden over a family tragedy. But when an extraterrestrial parasite fuses with his DNA,
Norris gives birth to a half-human, half-alien progeny. Can a man of both science and
compassion now protect his “son” from the government, or will society demand this
“monster” be destroyed?

Walter Koenig, Courtney Peldon and an all-star sci-fi cast – including Marina Sirtis
(Star Trek: The Next Generation), Erick Avari (Heroes), Gary Graham (Alien Nation),
Patricia Tallman (Babylon 5), Jay Acovone (Stargate SG-1) and Richard Herd (Star Trek:
Voyager) – co-star in the provocative thriller that A Slice Of Sci-Fi calls, “a brilliant piece
of topical work that has extremely important implications for our contemporary times.”
Written by Walter Koenig, "InAlienable" was the first feature length motion picture to premiere on the internet.

Two hundred years after the
apocalypse the human race, buried
in the bowels of the earth, is a few
tortured breaths from extinction. It
offers up one last gift to the poisoned
surface and the mutant life forms
that live there, a new species. Up
until now, they were the creatures of
fiction, now they are real and must
determine the reason they have been
delivered here. Are they only the
violent spawn of mankind's evil,
doomed to a solulless eternity, or the
progenitors of a better more hopeful
world? Is it possible for them to tear
the throats from their prey, drink the
blood and still pray to god? The story
of Things To Come are the things to
come.
                    ~ Walter Koenig
Don't yell at Norman Walters. He
doesn't deal well with conflict. A
psychotic breakdown follows
during which his mind invents
bizarre nightmare worlds  with
real  villains and real  victims.
Evil abounds and vanquishing is
needed. Toward that end,
Norman becomes Raver, a
superhero with a caveat: his
powers change from one twisted
reality to another to closely
mirror but never exceed those of
his enemies. If Raver should fail
in these grotesque new worlds,
Norman Walters won't get to
return to his old warm and fuzzy
one.

Walter awarded his star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame!
On June 21, 2011, John Plavik, Committee Chairman for the Hollywood
Chamber of Commerce, announced that Walter Koenig had at last been
chosen to be one of the recipients for a stars on the Hollywood Walk of
Fame. Said Walter: "This is something that you hope and wish for: dream
about, but something you never expect to really happen. It's a joyous
occasion and I am deeply honored." He noted the honor is even greater
since he is still alive to see it happen.

Walter is the last of the main seven cast members of "Star Trek: The
Original Series" to be awarded a star.
Fans had been rallying for several years to impress upon the committee why they thought Walter
should receive a star and a spokesman for the WOF noted that not one week went by when they did not
receive letters from fans in support of Walter's star.

The installation of the star is tentatively scheduled for September 2012, and Walter is committed to
holding a celebration event which will include all his many devoted fans that made this possible.

Walter's Current Projects
Walter's latest screen-treatment - "Things to Come" - is going to be published by
independent comic publisher Bluewater Productions in a new, limited mini-series
comic that will eventually be collected into a graphic novel as well. Scheduled to
debut May of 2011, it is being drawn by Juan Carlos Baez, with digital colors by Jon
Lyons..

"I'm very pleased to be on board with Bluewater. I anticipate an exciting
professional relationship and the opportunity to tell stories with style and artistry,"
Koenig said.
"Things to Come" presents a very different take on vampires than the current genre
has featured. Set in a post-apocalyptic world in which vampires have evolved as the
only species that can withstand the toxic world, they are nonetheless troubled by an
all-too-human search for identity and purpose.

"It's quite epic," publisher Darren G. Davis said. "Fans of the genre might think they
have seen this premise before, but Koenig's vision for this is unique, creative and
impactful. I am very excited to be a part of this project."

Fans were treated to a sneak preview of "Things to Come" on National Free Comic
Book Day (May 7, 2011) with an 8 page teaser coupled with a teaser for the new
Adam West comic.

Bluewater will also be repackaging Walter's first foray into comics; a
three-issue series called Raver. The comic books, originally published
in the early 1990's at Malibu Comics, will have an added story by
Walter to comprise a four-issue mini-series, with new covers done by
Gregg Paulsen, will also be collected into a graphic novel and should
hit comic book stores and online outlets in 2011.

Raver follows the trials of a reality-bending hero whose psychotic
episodes create a nightmare world with real villains and victims. And
Norman Walters (Raver) moves from one twisted reality to the next
trying to return to his original safe and stable existence.
"From the mind of Walter Koenig comes Buck Alice and the Actor-Robot - a science-fiction comedy unlike anything you've ever
heard before! When an alien invasion annihilates most of humanity, it's up to a small pocket of survivors to restart civilization.
There's just one problem: they're all losers. From an Irish pub to the Florida Everglades, from the outermost reaches of space to
the innermost regions of the mind, join a rag-tag group of humans and aliens as they face the end of one way of life and the
beginning of another. Packed with absurdity, pathos, wry observations about human nature, and a story that will keep you on
your toes until the final word..."

Now Available in a BRAND NEW PAPERBACK EDITION and a NEW AUDIO DRAMA !!!

The new paperback is published by Permuted Press, and the audio drama produced by the Colonial Radio Theatre with a cast of
45, a full music score, and thousands of sound effects.  In a story that critics say “Sparkles with sophisticated wit and intelligence”,
and “Will make you want to cry even as you laugh”, Koenig’s satiric-fantasy spins a wry and insightful look at human behavior
after an alien invasion leaves the fate of the human race on the shoulders of a group of society’s “losers”.

“This is a story like no other. The best way to describe it is to imagine Douglas Adams on LSD!… This is a story that is humorous,
touching, bizarre and at all times gripping.”
- John R. Roach

“If you like the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or Monty Python, this persentation is right up your alley. This black comedy of
people trying to restart the Earth's civilization after anninilation is slightly adult fare for those with warped imaginations. It is
funny stuff!”
- Bennet Pomerantz, AUDIOWORLD

“…one of my favorite books of all time…Are our heroes really to be so respected? Are their motivations any different than those of
a lunatic? And, worse, *gulp*, could our villains actually be right? Buck Alice and the Actor-Robot makes me wonder that. If
you're a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre, I recommend this book as your primer. It should go on your mantelpiece.”
- Travis Adkins
"...the surprisingly rich and lush THINGS TO COME springs forth from the mind of Walter “Chekov” Koenig. It is two hundred years after the
apocalypse and humans have burrowed underground like Morlocks to escape the poison air. Now, this new breed of cave man is ready to head
back topside and see how the world has changed. J.C. Baez paints some lush pictures that hang in a dewy haze across the page, perfectly
befitting this underground landscape. Seriously, this looks like one to watch." ~
